Basketball Game Preview: Wadsworth Grizzlies vs. Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs

Wadsworth is 2-8 against Stow-Munroe Falls since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wadsworth Grizzlies will host the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Last Wednesday, Wadsworth got the win against Nordonia by a conclusive 47-22. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Knights are ranked 381st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stow-Munroe Falls, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat North Royalton 61-28. That 33 point margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Wadsworth has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Wadsworth took their win against Stow-Munroe Falls in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 38-15. Will Wadsworth repeat their success, or does Stow-Munroe Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
