Perham is a perfect 10-0 against Barnesville since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will be playing at home against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Perham is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Perham will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Anoka on Saturday. The Yellowjackets came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tornadoes, sneaking past 14-12.

Gavin Griffin and Bradyn Anderson did most of the damage at the plate: Griffin went 4-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Anderson went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs Anderson has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Teagen Schmelz, who earned two RBI and two runs.

Meanwhile, Barnesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to Staples-Motley.

Perham pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Barnesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything went Perham's way against Barnesville in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Perham made off with a 16-6 win. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
