Baseball Game Preview: Alamo Heights Mules vs. Boerne Greyhounds

For the second straight game, Alamo Heights will face off against Boerne. The Mules will square off against the Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alamo Heights is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Alamo Heights is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Boerne on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 4-2. That's two games in a row now that the Mules have lost by exactly two runs.

Alamo Heights saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yul Salaburu, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Alamo Heights has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-1 record this season. As for Boerne, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.
