South Grand Prairie is a perfect 7-0 against Bowie since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The South Grand Prairie Warriors will be playing at home against the Bowie Volunteers at 7:00 p.m. South Grand Prairie will be strutting in after a victory while Bowie will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, South Grand Prairie beat Haltom 3-1. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Buffalos are ranked 543rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bowie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Lamar, falling 6-0.

South Grand Prairie's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bowie, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went South Grand Prairie's way against Bowie in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as South Grand Prairie made off with a 4-0 victory. Will South Grand Prairie repeat their success, or does Bowie have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
