The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves will face off against the Southeast Alamance Stallions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cedar Ridge will be strutting in after a victory while Southeast Alamance will be coming in after a loss.

Cedar Ridge is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Person 3-2.

Cedar Ridge got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 20-25, 28-30, 15-3.

Cedar Ridge's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Sydnee Tapper, who had 29 digs and six assists, and Kaitlyn Dixon, who had 13 digs and 11 assists. That's the most digs Tapper has posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, Southeast Alamance came up short against Orange on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-9, 25-23.
