Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Dubuque). They never let the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Tuesday. The Warriors have beaten the Wildcats the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

The win got East Dubuque back to even at 6-6-1. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-7.

East Dubuque will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
