Baseball Recap: St. Charles Saints vs. Chatfield Gophers

While St. Charles's win against Chatfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Saints sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Gophers on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Gophers: they've now won four in a row.

St. Charles got a great performance from Ethan Chelmowski as he struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Those seven strikeouts gave Chelmowski a new career-high.
