Basketball Recap: Croton-Harmon Comes Up Short

Croton-Harmon was the 43-27 winner over Haldane when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Croton-Harmon Tigers took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Haldane Blue Devils on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Tigers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 640th).

Croton-Harmon's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-4. As for Haldane, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-15.

Croton-Harmon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Haldane, they have already played their next contest, a 50-30 loss against Blind Brook on the 15th.
