Volleyball Recap: Brookland Comes Up Short

Brookland's tournament run continued when they took on Hackett on Saturday. The Bearcats fell 2-0 to the Hornets.

Kinley Hammett paced Brookland's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hammett got some help from Macie Murray and her nine assists.

Brookland's loss dropped their record down to 11-8-1. As for Hackett, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3-2 record this season.

Brookland has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Paragould on the 29th. As for Hackett, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Valley View on the 27th.
