Basketball Recap: Hozho Academy Takes a Loss

Hozho Academy suffered their closest loss since February 24, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Dulce Hawks by a score of 36-33.

Despite the defeat, Hozho Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Khloe Todecheenie posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Toledo, who put up eight points.

Hozho Academy now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Dulce, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

Hozho Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 36-30 win against Ramah on the 30th. Dulce has also already played their next game, a 48-43 loss against Rehoboth Christian on the 31st.
