Basketball Recap: Galloway Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Galloway needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Ryan Levin. The Galloway Scots skirted past the Wesleyan Wolves 61-58 thanks in part to Levin, who went 9 for 19 on his way to 28 points, to go along with seven assists and five steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

When it comes to explaining why Wesleyan lost on Friday, don't look at Connor Morehouse. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 18 on his way to 21 points in addition to five boards and three steals. With that strong performance, Morehouse is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Nketia-Gyasi, who posted 13 points and five boards.

Galloway's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Wesleyan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Galloway will take on St. Francis at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in St. Francis' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Wesleyan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-34 loss against Providence Christian Academy on the 7th.
