Cook Inlet Academy came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Ninilchik Wolverines. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Wolverines since September 26th.

Cook Inlet Academy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-19, 18-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Cook Inlet Academy's victory bumped their record up to 21-15. As for Ninilchik, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.

Cook Inlet Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Susitna Valley on the 20th. Ninilchik does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
