Baseball Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

Frankfort pushed their score to seven the last time they played Bryan Station, but on Wednesday they couldn't quite do it again. Frankfort fell just short of Bryan Station by a score of 1-0. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 14-7 to the Defenders when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Frankfort and nudges their season record down to 3-5. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Bryan Station, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Coming up, Frankfort will be playing in front of their home fans against Boyle County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bryan Station, they will venture away from home to take on Madison Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
