            Softball Recap: Peak to Peak Pumas vs. Lincoln Lancers        
        
		
        
        
            Peak to Peak had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They never let the Lincoln Lancers get on the board and left with  a   20-0  win. That's more bragging rights for the Pumas, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

 Margot McCune was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. Those  two  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Peak to Peak got a  massive  performance out of  Haley Haskins, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  double. Haskins is  on a roll when it comes to  RBI, as she's  now  brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Grace Trasky, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Peak to Peak  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .794. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Peak to Peak's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Lincoln,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
 Looking ahead, Peak to Peak will square off against Centaurus at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 15th. As for Lincoln, they will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Alameda at 1:30  p.m.
