Softball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Comes Up Short

Notre Dame Prep extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping their season record down to 10-12 in the process. They came up short against the Bunnell Bulldogs, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 last Tuesday.

As for Bunnell, they now have a winning record of 12-11. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by eight runs or more this season.

For Bunnell's part, the team relied heavily on Bella Caramanica, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Elisa Cabrera, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Notre Dame Prep has already played their next matchup (against Windham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bunnell, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Rocky Hill on the 2nd.
