Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-48 loss at the hands of the Ridgeway Roadrunners. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-37 back in January.

Marjavis Chandler went supernova for Ridgeway, going 11 for 13 en route to 24 points and four steals. Those 24 points gave Chandler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kareem Ollins, who posted eight points and four steals.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Ridgeway, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kirby the next time they take the court. Ridgeway will host Kirby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Hamilton will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
