Soccer Recap: Shadow Mountain Takes a Loss

Shadow Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Moon Valley Rockets, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Matadors of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Shadow Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Moon Valley, they moved to 2-8 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Shadow Mountain will square off against Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Paradise Honors is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season. Moon Valley has already played their next contest (against Thunderbird), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
