Softball Recap: Atlantic Coast Sets Scoring Season-High Against Flagler Palm Coast

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atlantic Coast). They put the hurt on the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs with a sharp 17-4 win on Monday. With that victory, the Stingrays brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Atlantic Coast got a massive performance out of Stella Lynton, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Lynton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rylee Ratti, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Atlantic Coast kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Atlantic Coast moved to 19-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Flagler Palm Coast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-15.

Coming up, Atlantic Coast will take on Fernandina Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Flagler Palm Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
