Football Recap: North Charleston Cougars vs. Hanahan Hawks
North Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Hanahan Hawks, falling 43-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 55-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Hanahan found their leader in freshman Tripp Gallus, who threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Brabham, who picked up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown.
North Charleston now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Hanahan, their record is now an identical 4-5.
