Softball Recap: Intrinsic Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Intrinsic is still undefeated this season after their contest against Westinghouse on Wednesday, but Westinghouse came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Warriors 8-6. The eight-run effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Intrinsic pushed their record up to 12-0-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Westinghouse, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.
