Football Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside and Menendez squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Westside had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 32-0 loss at the hands of the Falcons. The shutout was out of character for the Wolverines seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Westside and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Menendez, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Westside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Menendez, they will take on ED White at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Commanders' defense has only allowed 8.5 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
