Basketball Recap: Olpe Piles Up the Points Against Northern Heights

Olpe had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northern Heights Wildcats 50-14. The contest marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season so far.

Olpe has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season. As for Northern Heights, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olpe will square off against Madison on Thursday. Madison's defense has only allowed 23.4 points per game this season, so Olpe's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Northern Heights, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Northern Heights Wildcats duke it out with the Hartford Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
