Basketball Recap: Brylee Moss Key Part of a Team Effort in Cougars Win

There's no place like home for South, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Maize Eagles 53-29 on Tuesday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 24 points or more this season.

South's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brylee Moss led the charge by putting up 15 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Moss a new career-high in points. Paityn Fritz was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

South is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Maize, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
