Basketball Recap: Riley Thomas Key Part of a Team Effort in Braves Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McKinley, Badger was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-29 win over the Bristol Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Braves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Badger to victory, but perhaps none more so than Riley Thomas, who posted eight points in addition to 13 rebounds and four steals. Thomas has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Gabriella Miller was another key player, going 8 of 17 en route to 18 points and seven boards.

Badger's record now sits at 6-10. As for Bristol, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Badger has already played their next game (against Maplewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bristol has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Windham.
