Basketball Recap: Eastridge Comes Up Short

Eastridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pittsford Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Panthers are ranked 274th).

Eastridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pittsford, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, Eastridge will be playing at home against Monroe at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Pittsford has already played their next game (against Honeoye Falls-Lima), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
