On Tuesday, Newport Harbor was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 82-78 to Los Alamitos. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (61), the Sailors still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Edison was beaten by Los Alamitos 93-63 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (60), the Chargers still had to take the loss.
