Manheim Central hasn't had much luck against Warwick recently, but that could start to change  on Wednesday. Manheim Central will host Warwick  at 4:15  p.m. Warwick took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Manheim Central, who comes in off a win.
Manheim Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They put the hurt on Dover with a sharp  17-2 victory on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Barons considering their one-run performance the  contest before.
 Riley Hostetter made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits (and not a single walk). Hostetter was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double. That  double was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Paige Garner was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. She also  hit a  double, marking her first of the season.  Rilee Bender was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 Manheim Central  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .727. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile,  after soaring to ten  runs the game before, Warwick was a bit more limited  in their  game  on Friday. They fell just short of Spring-Ford by a score of  3-2.
 Kate Shaak was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she  struck out seven batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  Katie Heisey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  doubles and two  RBI.
 The  win  got Manheim Central back to even at 3-3. As for Warwick, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
Warwick's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Manheim Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .452. It's a different story for Warwick, though, as  they've  only  averaged .229. Will they be able to contain Manheim Central's hitters?
