Softball Recap: Lincoln Academy Takes a Loss

Lincoln Academy was the 6-5 winner over Morse when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 17-12 to the Shipbuilders on Thursday. Even if the Eagles couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Lincoln Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Morse, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lincoln Academy will face off against rival Leavitt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Morse is set to square off against their familiar foe Erskine Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
