Soccer Recap: Ridgeway Takes a Loss

Ridgeway was the 9-0 winner over Power Center Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Roadrunners came up short against the Knights on Wednesday, falling 10-1. That's two games in a row now that Ridgeway have lost by exactly nine goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Ridgeway and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Power Center Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeway will square off against Kirby at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Kirby will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ridgeway surely won't give up without a fight. As for Power Center Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Overton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Overton will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Power Center Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
