Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Railsplitters vs. Pinckney Pirates

Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Pinckney recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Railsplitters will square off against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Lincoln came up short against Dundee and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25, 25-17, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Lincoln got top-tier performance from Rachel Pomorski, who had 12 digs and five aces.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pinckney, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Salem on Thursday.

Pinckney now has a winning record of 13-12-1. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-17.

Lincoln couldn't quite get it done against Pinckney in their previous matchup back in August of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Railsplitters avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
