Basketball Recap: Fredonia/Elk Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bluestem back in December of 2024, Fredonia/Elk Valley came back down to earth. Fredonia/Elk Valley lost 72-51 to the Humboldt Cubs on Tuesday. Fredonia/Elk Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Humboldt apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Fredonia/Elk Valley's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Humboldt, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Fredonia/Elk Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Humboldt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 72-51 win against Fredonia on the 14th.
