Soccer Recap: Poteet Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Poteet was not quite Somerset's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somerset Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in February.

Poteet has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. Somerset moved to 5-12 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, Poteet and Somerset will both be playing Floresville the next time they take the pitch. Poteet will host Floresville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Somerset will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on March 7th.
