Softball Recap: Van Nuys Wolves vs. Panorama Pythons
Van Nuys was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 23-13 to the Panorama Pythons. Even though they lost, Van Nuys' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Monserat Jimenez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of KIMBERLY NUNEZ, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Van Nuys' loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Panorama, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.
Van Nuys will head out on the road to take on Animo De La Hoya at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Van Nuys is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season. Panorama does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
