Softball Recap: Blackfoot's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Blackfoot put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Delta Rabbits 18-1.

Sela Christiansen made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Christiansen was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Shea Staley was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Kylee Pratt was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.

Blackfoot always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delta only posted an OBP of .100.

Blackfoot's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Delta, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Blackfoot will square off against Brighton at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Delta, they will challenge Spring Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
