Football Recap: Burke Catholic's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

Burke Catholic and Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Burke Catholic had to settle for second. They were dealt a 46-7 loss at the hands of the Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama Wolfpack. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for Burke Catholic, who until this game were averaging 13.07 points allowed.

Tim Brogan threw for 29 yards on four of 15 attempts. Liam Gralton was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, Justin Mazzie rushed for 81 yards and one touchdown.

Tate Catanese continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama, throwing for 178 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in one touchdown on the ground.
