Softball Recap: Westfall Mustangs vs. Chesapeake Panthers
With a playoff win on the line, Westfall rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Chesapeake Panthers get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The Mustangs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Adrina Hicks was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
