Baseball Game Preview: Forestview Jaguars vs. Huss Huskies

For the second straight game, Forestview will face off against Huss. The Jaguars will host the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Forestview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Forestview not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th. Everything went their way against Huss as they made off with an 8-1 victory. Considering the Jaguars have won four games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Forestview let Alex Nance and Henry Jarman run wild. Nance scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3, while Jarman scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Forestview is undefeated when Nance posts two or more runs, but 1-7 otherwise. Liam Pepper was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one double.

Huss is on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13. As for Forestview, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Forestview has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Huss struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 strikeouts.
