Lincoln North Star waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Lincoln High Links with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-21.

Elsie Schmidt paced Lincoln North Star's offense, picking up ten kills. Schmidt got some help from Alex Kroll and her 32 assists. Marie Paneitz controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Lincoln North Star's win bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Lincoln High, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 18 of their last 19 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-28 record this season.

Lincoln North Star will be playing in front of their home fans against Norfolk at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln High does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
