Arrupe Jesuit strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the Kennedy Commanders to the tune of 72-34. With the Generals ahead 43-18 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Arrupe Jesuit got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Manuel Loya out in front who went 11-for-24 en route to 23 points and seven steals. That's the most points Loya has posted since back in December of 2024. Louie Garcia was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards.

Arrupe Jesuit smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Arrupe Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Kennedy, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Arrupe Jesuit will head out to square off against Lotus School For Excellence at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kennedy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Denver Academy of Torah at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
