La Crosse Central waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 57-56 W against the River Falls Wildcats. For the Riverhawks, this counts as revenge for the 56-39 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

La Crosse Central's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for River Falls, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

La Crosse Central will head out on the road to face off against Onalaska at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Onalaska knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully La Crosse Central likes a good challenge. As for River Falls, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Paul Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
