Baseball Game Preview: Comer Tigers vs. Wadley Bulldogs

The Comer Tigers will head out to face off against the Wadley Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Comer and four for Wadley.

Comer came up short against Billingsley on Saturday, falling 11-3.

Meanwhile, Wadley lost 18-8 to Mt. Zion on Friday.

Ty Taylor was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Logan Murr, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Comer's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Wadley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Comer's way against Wadley when the teams last played back in February of 2021, as Comer made off with a 14-0 victory. Does Comer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wadley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
