Beal City's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Algonac Muskrats a 9-0 shutout. Considering the Aggies have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Beal City has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Algonac, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-4.
