St. Joseph won the last time they faced Altamont and Sophie Yates did her part to make sure it happened again. The Jayhawks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Longhorns on Friday with plenty of help from Yates, who had 12 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

St. Joseph has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Altamont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

St. Joseph didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Beaver on the 17th. As for Altamont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Water Canyon on the 17th.
