The Jac-Cen-Del Eagles lost against the South Decatur Cougars on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Jac-Cen-Del might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 45-40 to South Decatur, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Jac-Cen-Del has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Scruggs was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with eight steals for South Decatur. The game was Scruggs' fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Jac-Cen-Del now has a losing record at 3-4. As for South Decatur, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Jac-Cen-Del is on the road again on Friday and play against Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. The timing is sure in Southwestern's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Jac-Cen-Del has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. South Decatur will be home for the holidays to greet Morristown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Morristown will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 414th, while South Decatur is ranked 116th).
