Baseball Recap: Wayland-Cohocton Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Wayland-Cohocton was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Livonia Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Dolan Cotter was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.

Wayland-Cohocton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Livonia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayland-Cohocton will take on Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Livonia, they will face off against Newark at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
