Basketball Recap: Poolville Snaps 12-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Poolville was riding high fresh off their 63-20 takedown of Hico last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Poolville Monarchs fell 45-38 to the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday.

Poolville's loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-6. As for Hamilton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Poolville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Graford at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Hamilton, they will take on Bruceville-Eddy in a tournament on Friday.
