Volleyball Recap: Prosser Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Prosser walked away with it. They came out on top against the Schurz Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in April, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

While Prosser won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20.

Teeron Allen paced Prosser's offense, picking up seven kills. Allen got some help from Micah Kholodenko and his 26 assists. Kholodenko also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Paulo Delgado, racking up two apiece.

The victory was the third in a row for Prosser, bringing their record up to 10-14. As for Schurz, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-11-2.

Coming up, Prosser will host Payton College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Schurz does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
