It was a good run, but Sitka unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 55-32 to the Lathrop Malemutes. The loss was the Wolves' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sitka fell to 3-1. As for Lathrop, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
