Basketball Recap: Echo Picks Up 14th Straight Win at Home

On Saturday, everything went the Echo Cougars's way against Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler as the Echo Cougars made off with a 62-38 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Echo's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points per game. As for Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Echo will head out to take on Enterprise at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Joseph will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler surely won't give up without a fight.
