Football Recap: Rabun County Beats Bremen for Their Fourth Straight Win + How To Watch

Rabun County won the last time they faced Bremen, and Reid Giles did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wildcats came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 14-3 on Friday thanks in part to Giles, who rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making seven total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Rabun County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Giles and Shaun Fruster. With that strong performance, Giles is now averaging an impressive 105.8 rushing yards per game.

The victory keeps Rabun County at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points on average this season. As for Bremen, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Rabun County and Bremen will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats are set to square off against their familiar foe Banks County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bremen will challenge rival Model at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
